Account & Data Deletion

How to delete your Notre-Dame Companion account and personal data.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how to ask, what is removed, and how long it takes.

How to request: email privacy@notredamecompanion.com (or support@notredamecompanion.com) from the address you used at checkout, with the subject "Delete my account". In the mobile app, open More → Account → "Delete my account & data", which brings you to this page. If you have a booking code (NDC-XXXXXX), include it so we can locate your records quickly.

What we delete: your email, the lead visitor name, your visit date/time preferences, order and reservation-assistance records, support messages, push-notification tokens, and any Google or Apple authentication identifiers linked to you. Copies in backups are purged on our regular backup-rotation cycle.

What we may retain: a minimal record of transactions where retention is legally required (for example payment, tax, and accounting records held by our payment processor and under applicable law), and anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

Timeline: we action verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.

Effect: after deletion, your digital companion access and any pending reservation-assistance request are closed and cannot be recovered.

Notre-Dame Companion is an independent reservation-assistance and digital companion service operated by FON Group, Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorized by Notre-Dame de Paris, the Diocese of Paris, or the official reservation portal. Cathedral entry is free, and official reservations are free and subject to availability. Your payment covers our assistance service and digital companion content, not cathedral entry.
